Cosmic Weather Patterns!

New Moon in Aquarius Waters

Hi All,

Did you feel the effects of the two solar flares within 2 days just prior to the New Moon in Aquarius energies of Sunday/Monday? WOW! Talk about being on a roller-coaster ride! If you've been feeling unbalanced at all since the Winter Solstice timing, you've had good reason to. Hopefully those flares blasted out what what hidden deep within, creating loving space for new and more optimistic interactions within and without!

Here's the planetary lineup of changes coming our way in the near future:

Mars turned Rx (retrograde) in the mutable earth sign of Virgo yesterday as of 4:54 p.m. PST. Mars will be going back up into Virgo from 23 degrees Virgo 25 minutes all the way to 3 degrees and 41 minutes when it stations Direct again April 14th! Virgo rules our desire to be of service and the physical health of our bodies. This inward energy time lag gives us TIME to discern the action we wish to assert re: our bodies and Sacred Service. Use this time wisely! Healthier routines in work and exercise are key here!
Mercury changes signs, going into the fixed air sign of Aquarius January 27th @ 10:12 a.m. PST - where is 0 degrees Aquarius in your chart? Mercury, our planet of communication, thought, and learning will activate my natal Venus as of that date, and all the rest of the planets I have in my 6th House of daily work/service and looking after my physical body! I will have a change of mindset about a few things by then!
Neptune finally returns to the sign it rules, Pisces, for the next 13 years as of February 3rd @ 10:52 a.m. PST! It has been 164 years since Neptune was last in Pisces and I expect a LOT of us embracing our Divine/Spiritual selves this time around! See my previous blog about Neptune's return to mutable and watery Pisces, April 4th, 2011, to see what was happening in the world back then. Our Faith, Trust and Surrender to and in the Divine realms will ensue, clearing the fog of illusions into the Reality of Now! Be compassionate and love and forgive self and others as we continue to learn to love ourselves and others!
Saturn turns Rx February 7th @ 6:03 a.m. PST and will be moving back from 29 degrees of Libra 30 minutes to 22 degrees and 46 minutes when it stations Direct again June 25th. Look for these coordinates in your birth chart to see how Saturn is again giving us one last shot at balancing and equalizing our lives - what House is it in for your Life Experience? Saturn has been hovering around and activating the planets in my 3rd House of communication, learning and short-distance travel.
Venus moves into the cardinal fire sign of Aries February 7th @ 10:01 p.m. PST - look for 0 degrees of Aries in your charts. Watch out for impatience with self and others, where we'll desire action NOW rather than later - think before you leap (via your intuition and heart-sense)! Venus will meet up with Uranus February 9th, adding to this sense of urgency - and desiring FREEDOM from whatever has been suppressing your true independent expression before now. You'll be able to breakthrough walls, resistance, hold ups in moving forward in relationships - evolving a new revolution of sorts!
Mercury moves into Pisces as of February 13th @ 5:38 p.m. PST - look for 0 degrees of Pisces in your charts, aligning with Neptune briefly. Spiritual talk, communion with your Higher Self, easier connection above and within - feel and intuit your way through. Journal the journey and worry less about the facts - tis the feeling and the intuition that rule now!
Sun moves into Pisces as of February 18th @ 10:18 p.m. PST - another 0 degrees of Pisces entry! The Sun will join Neptune for a day or so, then move on past (as did Mercury). This is my Sun sign, so lots of action happening for me in my 7th House of 1-to-1 relationships this year! Wherever the Sun shines in our charts, we are asked to respond in kind - SHINE your divine self more clearly, listen to your intuition and feel your emotions! Allow everything to flow, move through and out. Discern your inner path via the heartfelt intentions speaking to you via your Higher Self's whisperings (intuition). Follow the breadcrumbs to your next baby steps - and remember: we are ALL in this together, learning and understanding as we move forward into the Unknown this year. Learning about healthier ENERGETIC boundaries will be key here! Rather than soaking up everyone's emotions (energy), taking on their 'stuff', discern what you truly wish to experience with the people in your life! Co-create this with your Higher Self, "I desire to work with loving, compassionate and joyful people!" or words to that effect. Shine your inner LIGHT out into the world to attract like-hearted persons - your Soul Family!

New Moon Sunlight!

The Earth has undergone a major shift days prior to the Winter Solstice, energetically. Get those movie images out of your minds that are being touted out there! Yes, the weather patterns are more dramatic, and NO, cataclysms aren't the order the day in 2012! What we fear we bring toward us! Ask your angels and guides to take up out of your hearts, minds and spirit ALL thoughts, worries and frets that amount to fear, anxiety, guilt, remorse - feel your way BACK into your heart, and LOVE your present and future self RIGHT NOW! Keep it up - stay positive and optimistic and LOVE YOURSELVES!

The Mayan Calendar for 2012 shows us living 12 weeks worth of Life Experience in ONE WEEK! Yes, a quarter of a year in one week! No wonder we are flying through tonnes of emotion, fear-based thought, losing friends, family and jobs right left and centre! What no longer supports you must die/leave - it is time to stand in LOVE and COMPASSION and forgive self and others along the way!

Winter Solstice Heart Tree!

The old earth grid is dying - and with it our Egos, hence why the self-sabotaging habits of the Ego can seem mighty intense these days - especially since the Winter Solstice. This New Moon in Aquarius heralds a time to write out your DESIRES for your Future Self/Life - dream the truth of what you heartfully desire and BELIEVE IN IT! Love it into fruition, along with allowing your guides and Angels to bring it forward to you! Receive the universal abundance and KNOW we ALL deserve the very BEST of everything - unattached to outcomes or how it 'will happen' - that would be Ego's need to control and get in the way!

"Reveal Your True Essence Through Planetary Energies"

It is interesting how the depths of Astrology grow deeper after 10 years of study! I see more layers and connections, and seek greater clarity than ever before within the charts of my clients, as well as my own.

In my life, it was during my own Uranus Opposition timing that I finally answered my Soul's call to study Astrology, my true passion and vocation this lifetime, rather than administrative work in the Oil and Gas industry of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

It has taken a steady progress of study, learning, then stepping out to do readings on my own, connecting with my own clients (local and international). At the same time there has been a slow letting go of the Oil and Gas work, moving out to Nanaimo, BC and finally embracing the "freedom and creative expression" of my life and livelihood as it was always meant to be.

Twelve years later here I am! Life is a process and so is connecting with our true Soul selves. It doesn't happen overnight! And more doors are opening for me as I allow my new life to unfold.

The Planetary Cycles call to me to take a closer look, and I find the Natal Chart and Return Charts zero in on exactly what my clients need for yearly and cyclic direction, depending on the planet and its cycle timing in that client's life, such as:

- The Moon (our Ego challenges) cycles around the chart monthly (New and Full Moons 13 times a year - join our New Moon Gatherings in Nanaimo);

- The Sun (our Soul), yearly (Solar Return, from birthday to birthday);

- Mars (goal-setting + new energy for action), every 23.5 months (Mars Return);

- Jupiter (expansion of your truth, faith and the abundance you attract), every 12 years (Jupiter Return);

- Saturn (structure, responsibilities, authority and boundaries), every 29.5 years (Saturn Return);

- Chiron (healing the Wound of disconnection to your Divine Self - a life-long journey?), every 49-51 years (Chiron Return);

- Uranus Opposition (or Mid-Life Awareness/Crisis timing), activated as early as age 38, or as late as age 45, heralding the theme of "freedom and creative expression, the desire to break from established structures", that which your Soul longs to create, if you haven't allowed it to come forth before now.

Each of these readings tell a story of what is currently going on in your life, through the themes that are activated by that planet's or luminary's cycle around your birth/natal chart (what I call your Sacred Contract of what you agreed to do this lifetime).

Depending on your age, you could experience several of these all at the same time, effectively upheaving all that you thought right and proper in your life, until now! Creating huge challenges, change and a need to let go of the past to allow the Unknown, and a new life, to enter and unfold in yet another upward spiralling process. All in right and proper Soulful timing!

Subject: ASTRO 101 Basics

The purpose of this letter is to express my sincere appreciation for your efforts, insights, and instruction that you so generously gave to me and my fellow colleagues in your class of ASTRO 101 Basics.

I wasn't certain how much I would be able to absorb or exactly how much information you would be offering, however, when the class ended I came away with an amazing amount of understanding and information about Astrology from a spiritual aspect and a deep understanding and appreciation of who I really am and what my life purpose is. The other students were equally blessed and we found a cohesive bond was created with you and with each other that reaches beyond verbal expression.

Your beautiful gifts of humour, patience, and in-depth explanations in teaching are truly a blessing. The insights you have access to through your understanding of astrology and the information you are able to channel bring an amazing depth to the science of the subject and there was absolutely not one boring moment of class time. Furthermore, your willingness to be available by e-mail or phone whenever questions or insights arose from myself or the other students is commendable. What I truly appreciated was your intent in making certain that whatever the question was it was addressed and covered totally so there was no longer any uncertainty and it was done with kindness and grace, the way an excellent teacher teaches.

One thing I will say without a doubt is it would be to the blessing to all students and to the advantage of all teachers if they could learn from your approach and example.
